The New Kia Carens Adds Attractive Design to MPV Segment

With the Paris Motor Show in full swing, many exciting details regarding new Kia models are coming forth. Of note, Taylor Kia of Findlay would like to point out the completely-revealed, production-trim, redesigned Kia Carens.

Even though the Carens is built just for our European Kia lovers, our crew at Taylor Kia of Findlay take special interest for many reasons. First of all, this specific model is the European cousin of the U.S. spec Kia Rondo which was put to rest not long ago. With a completely-new Carens entering the scene, whispers of a Rondo revival have been getting louder and louder.

What's even more interesting to us is that the 2013 Kia Carens has accomplished what little multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) have done before. It seamlessly blends MPV practicality with attractive, personable styling. Getting down to the details, designers have managed to spice up the admittedly dull MPV segment by giving the Carens flowing lines, the new signature Kia grille, and front and rear overhangs. The fresh model also features attractive chrome trim along the windows and up to the C-pillar.

Benny Oeyen, Vice President of Marketing and Product Planning for Kia Motors Europe, comments on the striking new model saying, "This model will have great appeal to families with an active lifestyle who don't want to compromise between style and practicality."1
